Goodbye Courtney
Today was my first intern's last day with me. I can't believe the summer is almost over and she's making plans to head back to Murray for her last semester before she graduates with her bachelors degree in interior design. I had the ability to teach her more than she could've imagined about residential and commercial design, types of occupations, how to find openings and life in general. I'm very thankful for my time with her and the things she was able to teach me, for example, patience, communication and some tricks on word/excel. You'll be missed Courtney Collins (said with a British accent, thanks to Jesse Richardet). Good luck with everything!
Tim & Mary Pensel Kitchen Remodel
Tim and Mary Pensel have moved everything back into their newly remodeled kitchen. Thanks to a lot of planning on the front end, cabinetry, lighting and electrical layouts were designed, approved and used to get concrete bids. Flooring, cabinetry, backsplash, countertop, paint, new appliances, lighting and plumbing fixtures were all preselected, ordered, and were waiting to be installed when demo began. Thank you to everyone who worked on the project and contributed to the success of this kitchen remodel.
the Banterra Centre Project
We had a great time working on the Banterra Centre Project. We created solutions to final structural changes to allow for incorporating things the client wanted to add with the final product in mind. Selection of all interior and exterior finishes and specified how to install, worked with a graphic artist to design custom ADA signage and mirrors, ordered custom factory and local custom made furniture, selected lighting fixtures and locations with the furniture and art in mind and selected, bought, transported and installed all of the art. Communication with the client, project manager, foreman and installers was a must
