KENINGSON QUARTERS

Project Details and Objective

This client, referred by a family member I worked with on a previous project, purchased a slightly outdated home in a great neighborhood with a lot of potential. Our goal in working together was to modernize it in phases while remaining cohesive so that each space complemented one another.

  • Provided optimal plans for master bath, closet, and bedroom entrance/foyer hall area

  • Removed wet bar in the dining room and replaced it with a new drink station in an underutilized space next to the fireplace

  • Preserved existing hardwood and found a matching option

  • Narrowed and finalized choices for new fixtures, finishes, cabinetry, and more

  • Included all selected elements in client's budget

  • Ordered bids for plumbing, electrical, flooring, painting, custom mirrors, cabinetry, and counters

  • Initiated demo once orders were placed

  • Oversaw project management while clients continued in their daily routine

Phase 2- Basement and Laundry Room

  • Consulted with clients as they led the charge in this phase

Phase 3- Kitchen, Family Room, and Mudroom

  • Provided layout options for the kitchen and living room

  • Made trips to St. Louis to personally select countertops, stone for the fireplace, and the fireplace unit
