Emulating a magazine inspiration, the renovation maintained the integrity of the existing cabinetry while introducing a functional island, custom pantry, and a cozy built-in booth. The transformation extended to brightening a previously dark vaulted ceiling in the family room to achieve a ship lap look, enhancing the overall ambiance. Strategic removals and additions of walls improved flow and functionality. This endeavor resulted in a harmonious blend of aesthetics and practicality, creating a serene retreat for a hardworking couple to enjoy their weekends in peace.
