Full house makeover in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Inspiration:
Coordinating energy filled colors from the client’s collection of oil paintings and unique treasures accumulated over the years.
The Client:
A hard working, classy and independent woman that loves to entertain and travel in her spare time. New to the area.
What We Love:
• The energy from the paint colors that were selected brings the art and unique treasures to life.
• Changing the shape of the island in the kitchen and adding two new layers of granite that compliment the back splash and make it a wonderful space to entertain.
• The perfect area rug to compliment the new chairs in the living room.
• Installing carpet that matches the hardwood floor going down the steps to the basement so there would be a smooth transition.
What We Did:
Moving to the area from out of state, pictures and dimensions of existing furniture (in storage) was provided. Paint colors/locations and new flooring were selected and renovations took place before the client moved in. The furniture was placed and accessories were hung as the movers brought pieces in from the semi. After the client settled in, a new island was installed in the kitchen; new counter tops and a backsplash were selected and installed in the kitchen and main bath; new lighting and plumbing fixtures were specked and installed; new mantels were designed and produced; additional furniture was ordered; window treatments were sketched and fabricated; and exterior custom made privacy walls were constructed from colorful bamboo and crazy limbs.
