WALDEN PARK

Project:

A new neighborhood right outside of the hustle-bustle that brings back the original small neighborhood characteristics located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. 

Inspiration:

The all american neighborhood, going back to the way people used to live.  A neighborhood resembling “New Town” in St. Charles, Missouri. All of the design and construction will be taken care of with predetermined packages and turn key professional help that makes building your dream home as easy as apple pie.

The Client:

Entrepreneurs and investors Gerry and Amy Jones, owners of Walden Park and Jones Heritage Farm.

What We Love:

•    The club house which includes the cyber café, custom kitchen, living room to hold parties, usable office space, a gym and an outdoor patio area with a heated pool.

•    The adorable apartments, condos, houses and cottages with their classic looks and colorful Hardie siding.

•    The well-manicured landscaped round-a-bouts with bronze playing children.

What We Did:

What didn’t we do…Worked with the city to plan for and locate street and building signage.  Named buildings and streets.  Worked with the architect to finalize the floor plans and elevations for the houses and cottages.  Selected coordinating packages for residents that included: granite countertops, cabinetry, flooring, paint colors, lighting fixtures, trim and other interior and exterior finishes.  Designed the interior and exterior of the club house floor to ceiling.
